Saint Margarets Episcopal Church, Waxhaw, Union, NC, USA
One of the charter members donated some land on Highway 51 and in March 1987, ground was broken to build the new church. One year later, our first service was held in this building. A short time later, the Diocese of North Carolina admitted St. Margaret's into full parish status.
In 2003, the Vestry and Clergy of St. Margaret's realized that a new, bigger home was needed. At that time, the Church undertook a Capital Campaign to raise money to build a new home. In the Spring of 2005, St. Margaret's relocated to its current facility in Weddington, Union County, North Carolina.
