  Saturday, January 12, 2008 4:48 PM ; Aunt Lou-------mom has had two strokes in two days----i had to call hospice in for her-----she is comfortable and well taken care of. my boss has given me a leave of absense so i can spend what time she has left with her.they can't say exactly how long so i just sit and talk to her like she can hear me. she's lived a good and full life and had a lot of fun so i know she's okay----she keeps griping at daddy--i bet he wishes she'd just quit it. they say before you die you settle all your issues----undoubtably daddy passed before she was through with him-lol I have to laugh and find things that are funny cause i'm not gonna sit in front of her and cry. i will keep you all posted- i'm gonna call uncle lee in the morning----he's been calling me and he sounds so much like daddy i love talking to him. love ya-judi I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW MOM PASSED JUNE 21, 2008. I TALKED TO UNCLE LEE AND HE SAID AUNT GLADYS DIED THE NIGHT BEFORE. I TOLD HIM MOM GOT A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE AND THEN TOOK HER LAST BREATHE.MAYBE SHE SAW AUNT GLADYS----I SURE MISS HER.THE HOUSE USED TO REVOLVE AROUND HER-NOW IT'S JUST ME AND BO.SHE'S IN A BETTER PLACE AND SHE DOESN'T HURT ANYMORE SO I'M HAPPY ABOUT THAT. Born: Sep. 1, 1924 Hume Edgar County Illinois, USA Death: Jun. 21, 2008 Beaumont Jefferson County Texas; Donna Deanne White, 82, of Beaumont passed away June 21, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Born September 1, 1924 in Hume, Ill to the late Theodore and Juanita Axton Quillen, she lived in Beaumont most of her life. She was a retired credit manager for Dallas Williams Furniture and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Bo Dollinger of Warren; grandchildren, Mike Dollinger of Kountze, Snuffy Dollinger of Newton and Shane and Robyn Dollinger of Vidor; great grandchildren, Ryan Dollinger of Fred, Amber Dollinger and Holly Dollinger both of Kountze and Gabrielle Dollinger and Jared Dollinger both of Vidor; sisters, Martha Hance and Thelma Christ both of Illinois. Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Rocky officiating. A 1 p.m. grave side service was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont. Serving as pallbearers were members of her family.
