  Sarah BLEVINS b ca 1817 m 2 Feb 1836 to Larkin Madden STOKES in Rhea Co TN. They lived in Meigs Co TN. Larkin's father was a road builder. I believe the family worshipped in the Methodist Church. In the 1840's they moved on to Independence Co AR. She must have died before he did as her name is absent from his probate pack. Their daughter, Evaline, was my ggrandmother. The name, Evaline, caught my eye in one of the queries. She married David Gray and lived most of her life in Taney County MO. Also there were rumors that my Stokes-Blevins line had some Indian ancestors.
