- Linda Hall Sager Birth: Nov. 5, 1948 Browns Edwards County Illinois, USA Death: Jan. 1, 2013 Vincennes Knox County Indiana, USA Linda Sager, 64, Vincennes, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital, with her family at her bedside. She was born Nov. 5, 1948, in Browns, Ill., the daughter of Orville and Lona (Jones) Hall. She married Paul "Butch" Sager on Sept. 5, 1964, and they made their life together for 48 years. She and her husband worked together to build Butch's Janitor Service where she was the secretary/treasurer. She formerly was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and racing. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul "Butch" Sager; their daughters, Pamela Smith and her husband, Dennis, of Vincennes, and Paula Vennard and her fiancé, Harry Draper, of Vincennes; and grandchildren, Jonathan Paul Vennard and his wife, Ashlee, Jonna Leigh Guy and her husband, Ryan, and Shayna Lynn Smith. Her great-grandchildren, Azalin Jai Vennard, Kaydance M. Guy; her brothers, Don Gines of Eldorado, Ill., and Dennis Gines of Grayville, Ill.; and a sister, Sharon Mosberger of Grayville, Ill., also survive. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. Private services will be conducted.
