    • Lawrence Joe Totten Birth: Jan. 25, 1931 Death: Jun. 25, 2008 Lawrence Joe Totten, 77, known to his friends and family as Joe, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Joe was born January 25, 1931 in Cowden, Oklahoma to C.H. and Ottie Totten; the youngest of five children. He is survived by his wife Audra of 54 years and three children, a daughter, Terri Davis; son Larry Totten and wife Barrie; and son Eugene Totten and wife Rhonda. Also survived by one sister, Wanita Salyer of Norman, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Nikki Brinlee, Natalie Renfro, Tyler Totten, Travis Totten, Amanda Totten and Codi Totten; and one great-granddaughter, Madison Brinlee. Joe graduated from Cowden High School in 1950 and moved to Moore, Oklahoma after graduation. Joe and Audra married in 1953 and moved to Oklahoma City where he lived the remainder of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1957. After leaving the Navy, he returned to work at Morris Chevrolet which later became Smicklas and then Bob Howard Chevrolet, from which he retired with 54 years of service. He served his Lord as a Deacon, a Sunday School teacher and youth leader. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and three brothers, George, Floyd and Ross. His hobbies included tinkering with motors, and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild and helping Audra with her Avon business. Joe will be deeply missed by his friends and family; a loving husband, father and Papaw. Services will be held at Advantage Funeral Service - South Chapel, 7720 S. Penn at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27th. Family links: Parents: Clarence H.
