Notes - Hilda I. Tilley of Bedford, IN, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at the Heart Center of Indiana in Carmel, IN. Born on April 18, 1935, in Crawford County, IN, she was the daughter of Everett and Dimple (McCutcheon) Mills. She married Pastor Gordon L. Tilley on July 24, 1959, and he survives.
Surviving with her husband are one son, Dan Tilley of Kodak, TN; one daughter, Debbie McCord of Florence, KY; three sisters: Erma Scott of Grantsburg, IN, Norma Woolems of Grantsburg, IN, and Anna Garcia of Columbus, IN; three brothers: Sam Mills of Bloomington, IN, Paul and David Mills, both of North Vernon, IN; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a homemaker and a member and pastor's wife of the First Wesleyan Church in Bedford.
Services for Hilda Tilley will be at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Marvin Hughes and Dr. Norman Wilson officiating. A committal service will be conducted at 2 p.m. (EST) at the Union Chapel Cemetery in Grantsburg, IN.
