Frances Clements Kastenbein, 85, of Lake Wales, died of heart failure on Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Life Care Center in Winter Haven. A native of Ray City, Ga., she was a longtime resident of Indian lake Estates. She was a teacher for the Montgomery County, Md., public school system and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Wales.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Bill" Kastenbein. Survivors include her sister, Margaret Malcolm of Johns Island, S.C.; two nephews, Nat Malcolm of Johns Island and Lucius Malcolm of Athens, Ga.; and four nieces, Catherine Robertson of Ventura, Calif., Sue Palas of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Jean Yates of Ashburn, Va., and Cherilyn Moses of Warner Robins, Ga.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Wales.
