I did a quick search on the sister of Walter William Fondren, Anna E., and found her married in 1901 to a Benjamin F. Hunsinger. They were married in Pulaski County, AR most probably Little Rock or the surrounding area...and then moved to Pine Bluff, AR near Walter Jack McKinney and family.

Anna E. had one son named Arthur who you will find in the 1920 census working as a "car repairer" at the local lumber mill...same profession as H.T. and Walter Jack McKinney. She also named her 2nd daughter Mary. Perhaps after Mary E. her aunt? Anna E. Fondren Hunsinger died in 1922 and is buried in the Old Methodist Cemetery in Pine Bluff with her husband who died later and with other Hunsingers. I haven't tracked down the rest of the Fondren orphans, but having found this I now believe that there was a familial bond with some of the McKinney clan after Mary E. died. Especially with Anna E's son being in the same profession which I was told at the Cotton Belt Museum was a highly specialized field in railroad work. The railroads in AR followed where the lumber mills were being put in. At least that's what the historians in Lewisville said.
