Final rites were held Tuesday for Mrs. Josephine (RIGGLE) GILLHAM, Owensburg star route resident, at the Kentucky Ridge Church at 1 p. m.
Mrs. GILLHAM died Friday morning at her home following an illness of two years.
The deceased was born May 15, 1882, in Dubois County, the daughter of George W. and Mary (BENNETT) RIGGLE. She was married to Jacob GILLHAM, July 12, 1899, who survives her.
She was a member of the Sullivan Church of Christ.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Raymond and Virgil, of Indianapolis, and Claude, of Coolidge, Arizona; seven daughters, Mrs. Lula HACKLER and Mrs. Pauline FULLER, of Owensburg; Mrs. Hazel JACKSON, of Koleen; Mrs. Ollie SPENCER, of Lafayette, Colorado; Mrs. Effie MCNABB, of Greeley, Colorado; Mrs. Beulah HUNT, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Maude SIPES, of Kirksville, Indiana; twenty-nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
