      Mrs. Kate M. Whitney

      Mrs. Kate Mullane Whitney, aged 49, former resident of Little Rock and aunt of Mrs. Harold Morris of this city died early Tuesday morning at her home in Jacksonville, Florida, after a short illness.

      Mrs. Whitney moved to Florida three years ago from Little Rock, she is srvived by son Eugene Mullane of Florida, and brohter, George Buss of Memphis and two nieces, Mrs. Harold Morris of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Ari Powers of Rison, Ark.
      Remains will be brought to Pine Bluff for burial and funeral arrangements will be announced later by Ralph Robinson and Son.

      Mrs. Kate M. Whitney

      Mrs. Kate Mullane Whitney, former resident of Little Rock died Tuesday at her home in Jacksonville, Florida, where she moved about a year ago.
      Mrs. Whitney had many friends in Little Rock and Pine Bluff. She was an aunt of Mrs. Harold Morris of this city.

      In addition to her niece, Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Whitney is survived by a son, Eugene Mullane, and another niece, Mrs. Ari Powers, of Rison. She was a woman of many excellent traits, a true Christian, charitable adn kind. Her body will be buried by that of her sister, Mrs. Ethel Sullenberger, who died three years ago.
      Remains will arrive here early Saturday morning and funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Ralph Robinson and Son chapel; services be Rev. R.E. Simpson, pastor of the Carr Memorial Methodist Church; burial in Bellwood cemetery. Pallbearers are: Dave Ragar, Bob Swarm, Charles O'Neal, C.K. Ellliot Jr., T.T. Bell, Roy Powers, C.E Brundridge, Paul Bluerock, H. Boyd, Roy Curry, Ed Auster, and Bob Finley.
