      1926 Miss Judy Utt died at the home of her sister Mrs. Susan Griffin in Sturgeon Mo. November 21. The deceased retired Saturday night feeling as well as usual and when her sister went to her room to call her to breakfast she found her dead. It was probably heart failure during her sleep. She was born 4/13/1847 on a farm near Hallsville Mo. She was one of a family of 8 children.

      Mrs. Griffin with whom she made her home for the past few years is the only surviving member of the family. The deceased was united with the Baptist Church early in life and was a devoted Christian. Short Funeral services were held at the home on Monday afternoon by Rev. S. A. Bennett and she was buried at Mount Horeb cemetery.
