  Thomas D. Cole was the son of Alexander Cole of Burke Co., NC. He married Hannah Davenport also of Burke Co., NC sometime before they moved to Giles CO., TN in 1817. Thomas' burial place is unknown, but he's likely in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in an unmarked grave. His birth year and death year dates on this memorial are approximate.
