      James “Hershel” Daniels, 88 year old resident of Watts, Oklahoma, died November 14, 2017, in his home. Born November 5, 1929, in Watts, Oklahoma, he was the son of Franklin Daniels and Rosetta Anderson Daniels. Hershel married Barbara June Black Hamilton on March 16, 1956, in Watts, Oklahoma. He worked for the City of Siloam Springs and Cobb –Vantress but his love was raising cattle. Hershel served our country in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Ruthie, two grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife June of the home; daughters Melissa Holmes and husband Whit of Yazoo County, Mississippi and Robin Nolan and husband Tim of Kendallville, Indiana; son Ernest “Ernie” Len Daniels of Gentry, Arkansas; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
