Bragg (1855-1866) 14) Abner Pendelton Bragg (1856-1930) 15) George Albert Bragg (1858-1922) LA PLATA HOME PRESS, La Plata, Missouri February 15, 1889. ---James Madison Bragg died at his home, three miles west of La Plata, at 8 o'clock on February 7, aged 78 years, 11 months, and 22 days. Uncle Jimmie, as he was better known, was born in Adair County Kentucky, and married to Eliza Hicks, in 1833. He was the father of fifteen children, sixty-five grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He unified with the Missionary Baptist Church in 1840 of which he remained a consistent member until his death.
