Jesse J. Clingman, 71-year-old blacksmith, died Monday night in his home in Pleasant Hope following a brief illness. Born in Ohio, he grew to manhood in Kentucky and came to Pleasant Hope in 1884.
Son of Henry Klingman and Elizabeth Ellen Suitt. Husband of Rowena M. Mahan. Father of Salina Opal(Shewmaker), Mildred (Garrett), Charles Gail, Elizabeth Fern (Sturdevant), Ray Cloyce, and Jesse Keim Clingman.
