Notes - Ann Catharine, daughter of the Reverend George Boss, a native of Scotland, who settled in New Castle in 1703, and until his death, in 1754, officiated as rector of Immanuel Church. Mrs. Yeates's mother was Joanna Williams, of Rhode Island. Mrs. Yeates was born about 1724, and died February 3, 1772, aged forty-eight years. She is buried in Immanuel Churchyard. Mr. Yeates married, secondly (Immanuel Church Register), March 15, 1790, Ann Bonner, a native of Ireland, who came to America in her youth. Mr. Yeates died in New Castle County, February 14, 1795, and was buried in Immanuel Churchyard. Letters of administration on his estate were granted to James Riddle, Mrs. Yeates renouncing her rights.
