Mrs. Eva Dagne, nee Winklemann, widow of Adam Dagne, who died in this city years ago, died Tuesday night at the residence of her son, Val Dagne, 806 Centerville avenue, of senility, Mrs. Dagne was born in Germany April 3,1825, and emigrated to the United States in 1855, locating first in New Orleans. She had resided in Belleville for fifty years and was one of the city's most respected residents. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Henry Krisner, of St. Louis, and Mrs. Elizabeth Thebus, of Belleville, and son, Val Dagne. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a member of the Alter Society of St. Peter's Cathedral. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:45 o'clock from the residence of Mr. Dagne to St. Peter's Cathedral and Green Mount Cemetery.
