  February 03, 2015 6:29 PM To: Ron Yates Subject: More on Abstons Ron, You already have a record on Christopher’s father Francis, but thought I would let you know that Francis Abston’s father was Joshua Abston b. about 1735 in either VA or MD, d. 15 Apr 1793 in Pittsylvania Co. VA m. Rachel Clement(daughter of Benjamin) b abt. 1740 in VA and d. after 30 Mar 1780 in Pittsylvania Co. VA, they married abt. 1760 in VA. Joshua’s father was Francis b.1695/70 in MD and his will was probated 15 Jul 1762 in Halifax Co. VA. I’m still searching for more proof for this Francis.....
