Hubbard, 61, died at her home near Burnett, Friday, January 28, 1927. She was the former Laura Alice Dooley, born at Corydon on September 9, 1865. She was married to Robert F. Hubbard on December 16, 1888. Five children were born, four of whom survived her. A daughter, Dora Alice Satterfield, died August 13, 1923. Surviving were two sons, Edward Ivan Hubbard, of New Albany and Alfred A. Hubbard, of Burnett; two daughters, Ora Myrtle Wright, of Grantsburg, and Lora May Hubbard, of Burnett; six grandchildren, Robert Hubbard, Pearly May Hubbard and Esther Smith, who lived at Mrs. Hubbard's home; Melvin Edward Hubbard, of New Albany; Mildred Wright, of Grantsburg, and Juanita Pearl Satterfield, of English. Mrs. Hubbard became a Christian 25 years ago and attended church near her home as long as her health would permit. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Mount Sterling by Rev. Sam White officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Sterling Cemetery.
