    • Lucille Lone, wife of Curtis Froman, daughter of Jacob B. & Laura Ferguson, was born January 10, 1905 and departed this life January 30, 1926, at the age of 21 years and 20 days. She was one of five people killed when the vehicle she was a passenger drove into the path of a train at the railroad crossing in downtown English, after leaving a movie theater, her brother, Kenneth Ferguson, 16, was also in the vehicle but survived his injuries. She left to mourn her loss, her father, mother, husband, two children, Teddy Paul Lone, 4 years old, and Forrest Lone, 2 years old, another brother, Curran Ferguson, of Grantsburg, two sisters, Mrs. Vernie Sarles, of No. 10, and June Ferguson, of Grantsburg, a aunt, Mrs. Eva Roberson; grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Landiss, both of Grantsburg. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon by Rev. W. A. Moore, interment was in the Grantsburg Cemetery. (bio by: Jon Combs)
