- Last Will & Testament of James Willets New Jersey Colonial Documents, pg. 442, New Jersey, Abstract of Wills,1670-1817 for James Willets "1775, Jan 10. Willets, James, of Cape May Co.; will of. Son, James, plantation where he lives, and 1/2 the cedar swamp that I bought of Nathan Golden. Son, Enoch, the plantation I bought of Nathan Golden, and the overplus lands I bought of Jacob Spicer; also 2 small lots of land that I bought of Benjamin Scull; also that land in Cumberland Co. that I bought for the use of a pond and mill dam; also the salt marsh I bought of Nathan Golden, in Gloucester Co., on the north side of Tuckaho River; also the salt marsh that I bought of John Willets, Sr. Sons, Enoch, Amos and Nicholas, the other part of the cedar swamp that I gave to my son, James. Sons, Amos and Nicholas, my homestead plantation; also my rights of land on Pecks Beach. Children, James, Ester Wheaten, Martha Willets, Enoch, Amos, Rachel Willets, Sarah Willets and Nicholas, moveable estate. Executors--Jonathan Hand and my brother, Isaac Willets, who are to be Guardians of my children. Witnesses--John Willets, Hugh Hathorn, Elizabeth Hathorn.
