    • "Man Sitting in Road Is Killed by Truck ENGLISH, Ind. (UP) —Willis Richard Knight, 36, Mifflin, was killed by a truck Tuesday night as he and a stepson sat in the middle of a road, according to state police. Police said Knight and Cleo Willis Knight, 14, were sitting in the middle of a country road one-half mile south of Mifflin when a truck driven by John Laswell, 33, Westport, came over a hill. The truck missed the boy and ran off the -road into a bridge railing and turned over in a creek after hitting Knight. Laswell and young Knight were unhurt.
