  NANCY YATES (William ), born about 1784 in Fauquier County, Virginia, married John Sinclair. The marriage bond, dated 13 March 1804, was issued to John Sinclair and Nancy Yates, daughter of Wm Yates, who gave consent, with Isaac Davis bondsman, Isaac Davis and John Sinclair, signatories. (Isaac Davis and Ann Sinclair, with Nathan Sinclair giving consent, were issued a marriage bond the same day, with Isaac Davis and John Sinclair bound. John Sinclair's will was written and probated in Taylor County, West Virginia, in 1863. In it he mentions his wife Nancy; son William, executor; other children, not named.
