      WILL OF JAMES GLENN Dated 19th March, A.D. 1813 I, James Glenn, of St. Clair Township, Allegheny County, Pa. being in weak and infirm state of body but blessed with full and proper use of my reason and judgment, calling to mind one uncertainty of human life, and propriety of setting my house in order before I die, do now in the name of God, Amen, do now this 19th day of March, 1813, make this my last will and testament, by which I leave, order and bequeath the property with which God has blessed me and of which I may die possessed in the following manner. In the first place, I leave and bequeath unto my three unmarried daughters, Peggy Glenn, Betsy Glenn, and Hannah Glenn, two hundred and fifty dollars each, to be paid in the following manner: One hundred dollars to be paid to Peggy Glenn one year after my decease, One hundred to be paid to Betsy Glenn, two years after my decease, One hundred dollars to be paid to Hannah Glenn, three years after my decease. Four years after my decease, I order a hundred dollars to be paid to my daughter Peggy, and so on, alternately, one after another in the manner now specified, year after year, until the money above mentioned be respectively paid to each and every one of them. Further, I leave unto each of my unmarried daughters one spinning wheel, one bed and bedding with a comfortable living or the place, free of expense, while they continue in the single or unmarried state. And in case any or all of these daughters died while unmarried, I allow and order that her and their portion sh! all be equally divided among the surviving brothers and sisters unmarried. In the 2nd place, viz: To my daughter Nancy Phillips sixteen dollars. To my daughter Sally Henry sixteen dollars. To my daughter Polly (Mary) Reed forty dollars, and to my grandson James G. Sturgeon, I also leave sixteen dollars, to be paid when coming of age. In the third place, I leave and convey and bequeath unto my sons William and Walter Glenn, all my estate, real and personal, and to their heirs or assigns for ever, to be equally divided between them, and I do hereby order and appoint my said sons William and Walter Glenn, to pay equal shares of the legacies herein bequeathed. The receipts or having paid which shall make good the bequeathing and conveyance herein made unto them. Further, I order that the grain in the barn and in the ground be equally divided between William & Walter Glenn for the support of their families. I leave William the sorrel horse, and the other horses and milk cows to Walter, tho not divided. Finally, I do hereby nominate and appoint my sons William and Walter Glenn to be the only and sole executors of this my last will and testament, and I do revoke and disannul all former wills by me made. And confirms, establishes and ratifies this and only this to be my last will and testament. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of us this day and date above written.
