Notes |
- Plugged date of death of 72 years.
Benjamin conveyed all his lands in 1739 and presumably migrated from Maryland.

A highly decorated, retired naval carrier and test pilot and aeronautical engineer, began writing history after a second career as a business executive. His other widely acclaimed book is the First Virginia Regiment of Foot, 1775-1783, the first such history of any Virginia unit in the American Revolution)
(1/6/2012; most researchers have indicated that Benjamin died in 1739; I think this is possibly wrong as all he did was convey his land and it is speculated that he migrated out of Maryland. This Benjamin is a possible candidate to be the father of John Yates b. circa 1760. Requires more study and documentation which is in progress this date. Ron Yates Charlotte, NC)
