Notes - 11/12/2008
I remember Mann Roberson well and his wife and two daughters and a granddaughter. I think the granddaughter is still alive but do not know her married name. She lived around Evansville the last I knew--it might have been Washington, Indiana. She went by the first name of Bobby, I think but again that might have been her mother's name (daughter of Mann).
However, Mann married what I was always told a distant cousin by the last name of Roberson. Their daughter Ruth was not mentally able to care for herself and went to her sister when her mother and father died. However, the sister had MS and I think Ruth was placed in a nursing home and eventually the sister also. Both are dead now and I believe Ruth is buried at Hamilton. One son died in the military by slipping off a boat and being crushed. I believe there were infant deaths as well. (It was always told me about why cousins should not marry to just look at that family.) Uncle Mann and his wife (name slips me but will come) were frequent visitors at our house and I always thought they were so very nice and so nice to each other. Nidrah Roberson Dial
