Notes - 11/1/2009 Hi Ron, I called my Grandma today to talk to her about Sharon and Sharon's family and told her about you finding her Grandma's death certificate. So as we were talking she told me a couple things she was remembering at the time. Ida C. brother George never married. She told me he was like a hobo from here to there and ended up at the Poor Farm, which is where he died. Also she told me that both Ida and her sister Melissa were missing a big portion of their middle finger on their right hand. I asked how that happend. Grandma told me that while the two were pitting and cutting peaches Melissa accidently cut off Ida's finger and Ida carried on so that Melissa told Ida she could cut off her finger and so Ida did! I couldn't believe it! Grandma saw both women so knows it to be true. Amazing the stories keep coming. Anyway I just thought it was a fantastic story to share! Have a great day. Jerri Lynn
