- Nannie Beatrice Yates, 88, Cunningham, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Cunningham.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Helen Morgan officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 29, 1916, in Montgomery County, daughter of Walter B. and Dorothy Scott Swift. She was the widow of Oscar Edward Yates and was preceded in death by a son, Charles Larry Yates, and a daughter, Dorothy Faye Cilk.
Mrs. Yates was a licensed vocational nurse and was a member of Eastern Star and the Antioch Charge Senior Citizens. She attended Martha's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Dewey Swift, Georgetown, Texas, and Harlan Swift, Clarksville; two sisters, Joyce Jones and Lura Mai Robinson, both of Cunningham; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darrin Cilk, Kendale Cilk, Michael Cilk, Johnny Matthews, Bruce Swift and Scott Yates.
Memorials may be made to Martha's Chapel United Methodist Church or Gateway Hospice.
