      Naples, N. Y. - Charles Carpenter, a former resident of this village, died at Farmington on Tuesday last, aged about 50 years. His remains were brought here for burial in Rose Ridge cemetery, the funeral taking place on Friday.

      Farmington, N. Y. - Charles Carpenter, who has been such a sufferer for the past seven or eight months, died last Tuesday morning. A wife and daughter, Hattie, survive him. The funeral services were held at the house Thursday afternoon, Rev. T. Gates, of Macedon, officiating. Interment at Naples Friday.
