- Fannie Louise Willis, 94, of Cave City, Ky., died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at Hart County Health Care in Horse Cave. The Tennessee native was the daughter of the late James Browning Yates and Fannie Terhune Yates and widow of Wilson Willis. She was a member of the Cave City Christian Church and a retired teacher in the Caverna School system. She and her husband had owned Willis Drugs and the Dixie Hotel in Cave City. Survivors include a brother, Alan Yates of Cartersville, Ga.; special friends, Austeel Stull of Glasgow, Roy and Linda Fox of Park City, and their children, Tammy Dorris and Jimmy Fox, both of Bowling Green; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cave City Christian Church Building Fund.
