    • Casual, well intentioned researchers need to be aware that several family trees on the internet add further ancestry to this line at this point and it appears this is an error.

      Serious researchers point out that written documentation, to include Emily Stickeny Spencer's Some Minuscules of History and more importantly The Report of the Morgan Morgan Monument Commission written in 1924 by the State of West Virginia with a whole line of Morgan's contributing, state emphatically that there are no records of Col Morgan Morgan's parents or ancestry.
