Yates and John Boyd are held and firmly bound unto his Excellency Christopher Greenup, Esq., Govr of State of Kentucky and his successors in the sum of fifty pounds current money which payment will and truly to be made and we bind ourselves and our Heirs firmly by these presents sealed and dated this 18th day of April 1808. The condition of this obligation is such that if there be no lawful cause to prevent a Marriage intended between the above bound Robert Yates and Mary Ann Byers for which a service has pfmd then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force. Yates and John Boyd are held and firmly bound unto his Excellency Christopher Greenup, Esq., Govr of State of Kentucky and his successors in the sum of fifty pounds current money which payment will and truly to be made and we bind ourselves and our Heirs firmly by these presents sealed and dated this 18th day of April 1808. The condition of this obligation is such that if there be no lawful cause to prevent a Marriage intended between the above bound Robert Yates and Mary Ann Byers for which a service has pfmd then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force.
